What is a mini session?
Mini sessions are like a photo day party!
I photograph several families back-to-back on a specific date, at predetermined times, allowing you get gorgeous images in less time and at a lower price point.
Who are these mini sessions right for?
Families with kids who are comfortable around new people and don’t need extra time to settle in.
Families who want updated photos before the Christmas rush — whether that’s to tick gifts off the list early, create personalised cards, or simply avoid trying to squeeze a session into the busiest time of year.
Families with dads who would rather be dragged through a thorn bush backwards than put themselves through a longer format family session. Start here and when they see how painless these sessions are, you stand a better chance next time 😉.
Families who already know and trust my work and know they can still receive just about the same "full session" quality, care and gallery diversity in their upgraded gallery, but at a lower price point.
Where will these mini sessions take place?
Spring mini sessions 2025 will take place in a nature reserve close to Piara Waters/Harrisdale.
The full location details will be given to those who book a session.
What time will my session be?
Sessions times are pre-determined and you will be able to select the slot that suits you best at the time of booking.
These mini sessions will begin 1-1.5 hours before sunset and run in 15 minute increments until sunset.
How much will these sessions cost?
These sessions are $250 each.
Full gallery upgrades will be available with pre-shoot purchase discounts available.
How many images are included?
Mini sessions include 5 high resolution images.
You will be offered the option to upgrade to the full gallery which consists of 30+ images.
How many people can take part in a mini-session?
Due to the short time-frame we have to work with, mini sessions can only accommodate up to 5 family members.
What is required at the time of booking?
A $100 retainer and a signed agreement are required to book your session.
The balance of your session fee (plus any pre-purchased upgrades) is due 3 days before your session.
Do you give us guidance on what to wear?
Yes! You will be sent a mini session preparation guide which includes tips and examples for choosing your outfits once your session is booked.
