Who are these sessions right for?
Families with kids who are comfortable around new people and don’t need extra time to settle in.
Families who already know and trust my work and know they still receive the same "full session" quality, care and gallery diversity in their upgraded gallery, but at a lower price point.
Families who want a quick update on family photos outside of peak season madness.
Families with dads who would rather be dragged through a thorn bush backwards than put themselves through a longer format family session. Start here and when they see how painless these sessions are, you stand a better chance next time 😉.
If you feel your child does require a slower pace and more time to settle, please consider a full session format at instead.
What should we wear for our mini session?
You will be emailed my mini-session style guide leading up to your session. In there you will find tips on how to co-ordinate your family and what colours photograph best
Where do we meet for our mini-session?
The google maps link, parking details, and instructions on where to meet me and what to do when you get there, will be emailed to you in the lead up to your session.
What if I arrive late for my session?
It is extremely important to arrive at the location at least 10 minutes before your session start time. This will give you time to get everyone ready and be relaxed as we start our session.
While I understand that there are circumstances out of your control, due to the back-to-back nature of mini-sessions, it is not possible to adjust your time slot. If you arrive late, we will do our best to still capture special images with the remaining time and light that we have available.
What if I can't attend my mini-session for any reason?
It is important to understand that, as with all mini-sessions, these are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be rescheduled for anything other than bad weather at the discretion of the photographer.
"No shows" will forfeit their spot and will not be offered a refund.
How many photos will I receive?
Your session includes 5 high resolution downloads which you can select from your watermarked gallery of 30+ finalised images from your session.
Can I upgrade to the full gallery?
You most certainly can! and to be frank, most people do!
I am very fortunate to have an extremely high gallery upgrade take-up. Pre-Shoot gallery upgrades are available and I highly recommend taking advantage of those savings.
Your full gallery of gorgeous images can be purchased for $245 after delivery or just $200 with with pre-session upgrade offer.
If you have pre-purchased your upgrade, your gallery will arrive watermark free, ready for instant download.
All gallery upgrades receive a voucher to put towards a future session with me.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, absolutely! Times are tough and I am more than happy to setup and manage this for you. It sounds all official and fancy, but really, we just agree on a weekly payment and once it's fully paid off your gorgeous gallery will be unlocked.

Can I purchase print products?
Most definitely! There is a beautiful print store attached to your gallery. This store gives you access to my professional print lab. Your orders will be sent directly to you from the lab, but please feel free to ask me any questions prior to ordering or if you find it all too overwhelming.
When will I receive my gallery?
Your watermarked image gallery will be delivered via a password-protected online gallery delivery system (to the email provided at the time of booking) within 2-4 weeks.
Instructions on how to choose/upgrade and download your images will be provided to you in the delivery email.
What if my children refuse to participate or cry the entire time?
While I have yet to encounter a session where I haven't been able to make some kind of magic happen, it is important to note that this is a risk you take with mini-sesisons. Due to time limitations I won't have time to bring out every trick in the book the way I would in my full sessions. That being said, please make sure your baby/toddler sleeps and eats prior to your session.
What if it rains?
In order for me to provide an outcome that is in line with what you see in my promotional material, we do require clear, sunny skies.
I will be keeping an eye on the weather leading up to our mini's day and will be in contact if a reschedule is required.
If it rains on your scheduled session date, all sessions will be moved to the next available date for Sarah Ross Photography. If you can no longer attend on the rescheduled date, rest assured, I will make a plan.
Can I choose my own date and location?
Mini-session time slots and locations are chosen by Sarah Ross Photography and are not flexible.
If you require more flexibility on dates and locations, please look into a full family session format.
